Vortex EX Delta Flow Meter

Sparling Vortex EX Delta flow meters are volumetric flow measurement devices featuring a simple rugged design. The Vortex EX Delta is available in sizes 3/4" TO 12" with wafer or flange mount. Insertion sensors available from 8" to 80". Vortex flow meter applications include:

Steam - Saturated steam in power plants Vortex EX Flow Meters

Liquid - Pure water in semiconductor and pharmaceutical

Gas – Nitrogen, ammonia, methane, and other gases used in industry

Standard Features

Accuracy ±1% of rate.

SST trapezoidal body and embedded piezoelectric sensor avoids contact with process fluid. High temperature sensors to 788°F (420°C) and standard –22°F to 572°F temperature range. The wide range of temperature and pressure allows flow measurement of a variety of fluids.

Microprocessor based NEMA 4X enclosure.

Loop powered for different outputs or battery powered for local display

Vortex Eggs Delta-Pulse Flow Meter

Sparling’s Vortex Eggs Delta-Pulse flow meter is a lightweight, small, low cost flow monitoring vortex meter. Constructed from PPS resin (injection molded plastic construction), Vortex Eggs use NPT threaded connection for simple installation and have NEMA-4X enclosure. Available in a wide range of sizes including 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" and 1" Vortex Eggs flow meters have no moving parts and the injection-molded design provides a smooth surface for cleanliness and good chemical compatibility.

Vortex Eggs Delta Flow Meters

Sparling's Vortex Eggs Delta flow meters measure liquids, air and gas flows with very little head loss because they are manufactured with no moving parts. Available in 1/8’’, Ľ’’, ˝'' and 1’’ sizes, Vortex Eggs Delta flow meters utilize a unique design and plastic injection molding construction. The design and construction makes it compact and lightweight while having good chemical compatibility and very smooth surfaces. Standard features include:

Built in EEPROM stores meter parameters and totalizer readings

Battery power eliminates wiring and lowers installation costs
