    Model KUA
    Model KUA polyester urethane foam Kinetics Model KUA is a 2 lb. per cubic foot density polyester urethane foam. Developed to have a low weight to sound absorption ratio, Model KUA absorbs reflective sound in the mid and high-frequency spectrum with peak efficiencies over 500 Hz. The foam can be provided with special facings for protection against oils, dirt, and moisture.

    Model KB-803
    Kinetics Model KB-803 sound control baffles reduce noise levels in recreational, industrial, and other high noise areas. KB-803 baffles are 2.7 pcf fiberglass with dimensions of 24’’ width x 48’’ height x 1½’’ thickness. The baffles should be installed near the source of the noise and can be suspended by wire. Model KB-803 baffles can reduce the noise in a room by up to 10 dB depending on the room’s configuration. Versions of Model KB-803 are available to meet FDA and USDA approved requirements.
    Model KNC
    The Kinetics Model KNC is a noise control curtain that can be used to create partial or full enclosures. Curtains are available in a limp mass vinyl format or vinyl quilted fiberglass format. The curtains act as movable barriers between noisy and quiet areas.

    Model RIM
    Kinetics Model RIM is a 2’’ thick precompressed molded fiberglass isolation pads and is used to produce a floating concrete floor. The pad Model RIM floating floorare set in a ½'' thick pouring form. A concrete floor meeting sound transmission class of STC 73 can be achieved using this system. The material is provided in 4’ rolls 50’ long and 1.5’’ thick. Applications include:

    Model KIP
    Kinetics Model KIP fiber glass isolators can be used in floating concrete floors or as a vibration isolator. KIP isolators are a high density matrix of precompressed molded glass fibers, individually coated with a flexible water-resistant membrane. An advantage compared to other floating concrete floor materials is KIP isolators provide unprecedented design freedom. Features include:

    Spring Liftslab Floating Floor
    Kinetics Liftslab Floating Floors control low frequency impact and airborne noise. Standard systems come with 2’’ deflection springs. Custom systems are available. Liftslab floating floors are used to isolate sensitive equipment from transient building noise. Applications include gymnasium floors and metrology room floors.


    Shock Control or Vibration Control Systems
    Model NDF
    Kinetics Model NDF isolation pads are constructed from laminated neoprene and cotton duck fabric. NDF pads have 64 layers of laminated neoprene and cotton duck fabric in each pad (2.6 layers per mm). Features include:
  • Intermittent loading to 10,000 psi
  • Allowable shock loading 2000 psi
  • Temperature range –35° to 200°F (-37°C – 93°C)
  • Conforms to MIL-C-882B

    Vibron acoustical enclosures use Noiseblock STL and HTL panels. The panels are filled with 2.5 pcf glass fiber or wool sound proofing material. The skin is galvanized steel. Enclosures are available with doors, access panels, and ventilation packages.acoustical enclosure
