Model S4
Used in industrial noise control applications, Kinetics Model S4 sound absorption panels absorb low and mid-frequency sound. Model S4 damping material consists of 3 PCF glass fiber core encapsulated by a 10 mil neoprene coating, fiber glass reinforced, aluminized polyester reflective film facing.
Features
Model PA
Features Model KFA
Used in industrial noise control applications, Kinetics Model KFA quilted face sound absorbing blankets are used to reduce reflected noise. Model KFA blankets are fire safe and cleanable making it a better damping material solution than urethane foams in applications where a fire safe or cleanable product is advantageous. Model KFA quilted damping material absorbers are easily installed and have a long service life because they are unaffected by moisture, humidity, dust, dirt, oils,
Model KUA
Kinetics Model KUA is a 2 lb. per cubic foot density polyester urethane foam. Developed to have a low weight to sound absorption ratio, Model KUA absorbs reflective sound in the mid and high-frequency spectrum with peak efficiencies over 500 Hz. The foam can be provided with special facings for protection against oils, dirt, and moisture.Features
Model KNP
Kinetics Model KNP panel absorbers are 2 thick perforated panels filled with fiber glass sound absorption material and have an aluminum or galvanized facing.
Barrier, Enclosure and Curtain Systems
Model A-Line
Kinetics Model A-Line sound absorption panels have deeply contoured faces exposing eight times more surface area than flat foam panels. Standard panels are polyester polyurethane foam (not a Class A product) or melamine (Class A).
Applications
Model KNM
Kinetics Model KNM barriers are used to absorb sound from piping and machinery. The Clearview versions of Model KNM sound insulate machinery without blocking an operators view. KNM is either draped around or suspended between equipment and quiet
Model KB-803
Kinetics Model KB-803 sound control baffles reduce noise levels in recreational, industrial, and other high noise areas. KB-803 baffles are 2.7 pcf fiberglass with dimensions of 24 width x 48 height x 1½ thickness. The baffles should be installed near the source of the noise and can be suspended by wire. Model KB-803 baffles can reduce the noise in a room by up to 10 dB depending on the rooms configuration. Versions of Model KB-803 are available to meet FDA and USDA approved requirements. Model KNC
The Kinetics Model KNC is a noise control curtain that can be used to create partial or full enclosures. Curtains are available in a limp mass vinyl format or vinyl quilted fiberglass format. The curtains act as movable barriers between noisy and quiet areas.
Floating Floors, Ceilings and Partitions
Model RIM
Kinetics Model RIM is a 2 thick precompressed molded fiberglass isolation pads and is used to produce a floating concrete floor. The pad are set in a ½'' thick pouring form. A concrete floor meeting sound transmission class of STC 73 can be achieved using this system. The material is provided in 4 rolls 50 long and 1.5 thick. Applications include:Model KIP
Kinetics Model KIP fiber glass isolators can be used in floating concrete floors or as a vibration isolator. KIP isolators are a high density matrix of precompressed molded glass fibers, individually coated with a flexible water-resistant membrane. An advantage compared to other floating concrete floor materials is KIP isolators provide unprecedented design freedom. Features include:Spring Liftslab Floating Floor
Kinetics Liftslab Floating Floors control low frequency impact and airborne noise. Standard systems come with 2 deflection springs. Custom systems are available. Liftslab floating floors are used to isolate sensitive equipment from transient building noise. Applications include gymnasium floors and metrology room floors.
Shock Control or Vibration Control Systems
Model NDF
Kinetics Model NDF isolation pads are constructed from laminated neoprene and cotton duck fabric. NDF pads have 64 layers of laminated neoprene and cotton duck fabric in each pad (2.6 layers per mm). Features include:Vibration Isolation
Model SL
Kinetics Model SL housed spring isolators are stabile springs assembled into telescoping cast iron or aluminum housings. Specifications include:Model SM
Kinetics Model SM housed spring isolators are stabile springs assembled into telescoping cast iron or aluminum housings. Specifications include:Model FLS-1 and FLS-2
Kinetics Model FLS restrained spring isolators are free-standing, large diameter, laterally stable springs assembled into welded steel housings. FLS springs are designed to limit the vertical movement of the equipment if equipment forces are changed. Specifications include:Model FDS
Kinetics Model FDS free-standing spring isolators are free-standing, unhoused, large diameter, laterally stabile, steel springs assembled into an upper load plate and leveling assembly. To ensure stability the springs have lateral spring stiffness greater than 1.0 times the rated vertical stiffness. Specifications include:Model FHS
Kinetics Model FHS seismic control spring isolators are a Model FDS spring with a steel housing to limit both lateral and vertical movement. Depending on the load and seismic zone, an optional steel load spreader plate to distribute the load among concrete anchors may be added. Specifications include:Model FLSS
Kinetics Model FLSS restrained spring isolators are free standing, large diameter, laterally stabile, steel springs assembled into weight into welded steel housing assemblies. Specifications include:
![]() Acoustical Enclosures and Air Duct Silencers
Acoustical Enclosures
Vibron acoustical enclosures use Noiseblock STL and HTL panels. The panels are filled with 2.5 pcf glass fiber or wool sound proofing material. The skin is galvanized steel. Enclosures are available with doors, access panels, and ventilation packages.
Silencers
Vibron silencers are available in circular and rectangular format. Silencers stop airborne noise from transmitting through HVAC ducts and equipment. Silencers due effect air flow, so their implementation needs to be carefully considered. Applications include, loud manufacturing and other noisy environments. |
