American Meter’s Diaphragm Gas Meters are the commercial and industrial market leader. Appropriate for natural gas or propane applications models with rated capacities for 0.60 S.G. are available in sizes between 800 and 11,000 SCFH. Features include:

Valves - Durafil valves and American Meter’s proven valve motion design ensures long term stability and minimal wear.

One-piece Body - The aluminum alloy case, table, partition and channels are cast in one piece. The possibility of internal leakage at machined joints and gaskets is eliminated by the one-piece design.

Molded Duramic Diaphragms - Three-convolution Duramic diaphragms deliver smooth operation and long service life. Duramic diaphragms feature uniform thickness and flexibility helping sustain accuracy.

Low Friction Seals - Synthetic grommet-type flag rod seals provide minimum friction with no leakage and can run millions of cycles.

Rugged Flag Rods - Heavy, rugged, reinforced flag rods ensure positive alignment and sustained accuracy.

Large, Self-Lubricating Bearings - Extra large, oil impregnated “self lubricating” bearings are used at all critical bearing points.

Steel Connection Threads - steel inserts eliminate thread galling.

Choice of indexes - Meters come with either a pointer-type or digital (odometer-type) index.
